Kern means "Little Dark One" in Celtic, but it is ironic for him. Having been the runt of the litter, Kern has developed into a large hamster. At eight weeks he was the same length as his daddy, "Brick".
Kern is now lvings with a friend of the family. So he doesn't get to see the others much, but I don't think he minds too much.
